• On Famous Women – Giovanni Boccaccio (on the basis that you can’t beat quasi-history for insane stuff that probably happened and being in the public domain, can be easily mined for story purposes.) This one required Amazon, because there don’t seem to be any English language translations available as ebooks, anywhere.
