“blonde woman aiming gun at viewer, book cover illustration, style of robert maguire 2:3” So I fed it a reference image. Unfortunately…. “, blond woman aiming gun at viewer ::2, pulp novel cover, style of robert maguire,” The watermark refused to go away at first, and then when it did go, it messed up the texture of her right eye. Otherwise, this is pretty darned perfect. So I then fed it a different reference image. Some kind soul cleaned up the cover art for “Black Amazon of Mars” (artist: Allen Anderson) “, a red haired woman in black armor swings an axe, ruined city background, art by allen anderson, art by robert maguire” MidJourney also violently resisted attempts to remix this into an ink drawing, but whatever. EDITED TO ADD:
And there we go, ladies and gents.“[photo reference (pic#1) + (pic#2)] blonde woman pointing gun, art by allen anderson, art by robert maguire, book cover illustration”
BOOM.
(Hazardous travel conditions means that I have not been working for the past two days.)
I find it rather comforting that the AI’s aim was so off in the first image.

Nice work, Riders! Those are great – I particularly like the different versions of the cover for Black Amazon of Mars. Those are fantastic!

Yep, some of those came out pretty well, considering, that uh, MidJourney does not allow use of the word “cleavage.” Even when you are trying to specify *no* cleavage.
(We are not talking about hands, here, today, on this blog.)

What? That is absurd! ‘Cleavage’ is a vital artistic term.

Not in the context of “full armor,” “battlefield scene,” “dynamic action scene,” or “good taste.”

Kind of. I had to start from scratch because I couldn’t actually *find* my original avatar pic.
